About ΦΔΧ

Phi Delta Chi is a Local Women's Fraternity

Our flowers are the White Rose and the Forget-me-Not..
The white rose is part of our heritage, and the forget-me-not is a symbol of our friendship within the group.

We have two mottos at Phi Delta Chi:
~The official motto is Unique and Growing,
~And our unofficial motto is Just Being' Social.

HISTORY

The White Roses of Sigma Tau Gamma

In September 1978, this women's fraternity was founded as a little sister organization of Michigan Tech Gamma Chi Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma National Fraternity. It was ten years later that Sigma Tau Gamma National voted to dissolve all little sister organizations affiliated with the Fraternity. The White Roses of Michigan Tech chose to continue their sisterhood by forming their own local women's fraternity.

Phi Delta Chi was founded by 20 outstanding women and became an official Greek organization on campus, March 6, 1989. We are currently the youngest women's fraternity on campus.
